Privacy Policy

This Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy of the website “level-legal.com” ("Policy") applies to personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation ("Data Subjects"), which are processed by LEVEL LEGAL SERVICES LLC (TIN: 7730712853) ("Operator").

This Policy is developed in accordance with Federal Law "On Personal Data" No. 152-FZ dated 27.07.2006 and the normative legal acts of the Russian Federation adopted in accordance with it.

1. Storage of Personal Data

When processing personal data of the Data Subjects, the Operator shall rely upon Federal Law "On Personal Data" No. 152-FZ dated 27.07.2006, and shall ensure recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (update or change) and extraction of personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation using databases located within the territory of the Russian Federation.

2. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

The Operator processes personal data for clearly defined purposes, including:

  • Providing access to the "level-legal.com" website;

  • Circulating newsletters about news, events, publications and any other information related to the Operator; and

  • Registration for events organized by the Operator.

    Personal data may be received by the Operator strictly for the fulfilment of predetermined purposes directly from the Data Subjects.

4. Processing Timeframe

The Operator shall process the personal data of the Data Subjects until the purpose of information processing is achieved or until the consent to the processing of personal data is withdrawn or until the expiration of the storage period (applicable only to cookies). After the termination of his or her processing, personal data shall be deleted within the terms provided for by Federal Law "On Personal Data" No. 152-FZ dated 27.07.2006.

5. Rights of the Data Subject Regarding Personal Data

Each Data Subject shall have the following rights:

Access to Personal Data

The Data Subject has the right to request confirmation of the processing of his or her personal data. In the case of such processing, the Data Subject has the right to fully view the processed personal data, as well as the information on the purposes of processing, the category(ies) of processed data, the actions taken with data, the recipients of the data and guarantees in case of data transfer to third parties, the terms of processing, the sources of data acquisition and the availability of any exclusively automated decision-making process. The Data Subject also has the right to receive a list of the personal data that had been processed.

Withdrawal of Consent for Personal Data Processing

In situations where the Operator uses the Data Subject's consent as the basis for processing the Data Subject's personal data, the Data Subject has the right to revoke the consent given by the Data Subject at any time. Each consent to the processing of personal data given by the Data Subject to the Operator has a revocation procedure – if the Data Subject wishes to revoke any of the consents that they had given to the Operator, they may use the procedure provided for  with such consent directly.

Correction of Personal Data

The Data Subject has the right to request correction of his or her personal data in the case of any inaccuracies in the composition of personal data processed by the Operator. Taking into account the purposes of processing, the subject has the right to make additions to personal data, including  through the submission of an additional application.

Restriction of Personal Data Processing

The Data Subject has the right to initiate the restriction of the processing of all or part of his or her personal data if one of the following conditions applies:

  • the accuracy of personal data is disputed by the Data Subject (limitation on the period of time required by the Operator to confirm the accuracy of personal data);

  • unlawful processing of personal data is detected; the Data Subject objects to the deletion of his or her personal data and instead requests to restrict its use;

  • the Operator no longer requires the personal data for  processing purposes, but it is required by the Data Subject for justification, execution or in the context of legal proceedings;

  • the Data Subject objects to the processing of his or her personal data (limitation on the period of time required for the Operator to establish whether the Operator's legal grounds for processing the Data Subject’spersonal data take precedence over the Data Subject's legal requests).

Deletion of Personal Data

The Data Subject has the right to request the deletion of his or her personal data from the Operator's systems and/or other available material sources, if one of the following conditions applies:

  • the personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was obtained;

  • the subject withdraws the consent on the basis of which the processing was carried out, if there is no other legal basis for the processing;

  • the Data Subject objects to the processing of his or her personal data (if there are no overriding legal grounds for processing his or her data);

  • personal data is being processed unlawfully;

  • personal data must be destroyed in order to comply with a legal obligation as required by law;

  • at the time of personal data collection, the Data Subject was a minor, and the personal data was obtained on the basis of the minor’s legal representative's consent in order to provide services through remote service channels (information society services) directly to the minor themselves.

Data Portability

The Data Subject has the right to request, in a structured, universal and machine-readable format, a list of his or her personal data provided to the Operator for processing and to instruct the Operator to transfer his or her personal data to a third party if the Operator has the appropriate technical capability. In this case, the Operator shall not be liable for the actions of the third party subsequently performed with the personal data.

Filing a Complaint with the Supervisory Authority

The Data Subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if the Operator in any way violates his or her rights relating to personal data processing.

The Operator may update the Policy when deemed necessary.. All changes made to the Policy shall come into effect from the date of publication of the updated version on the website.

6. Information about Cookies

The Data Subject may allow, block or delete cookies installed on the computer in the web browser settings. If the Data Subject blocks such cookies, some functions that require their use may become unavailable to the Data Subject.
