Karen is a tax law specialist with more than 15 years of experience at major international law firms such as Norton Rose Fulbright, Macleod Dixon, CMS Legal, Deloitte, DLA Piper. He is an attorney at law and holds a Master's degree in Taxation (LL.M), which he received from Wayne State University School of Law (USA).

Karen provides tax support for mergers and acquisitions, project structuring and financing, and industry-specific commercial transactions in the energy, trade, real estate, insurance, financial services, IT and TMT sectors.

He specializes in M&A transactions, in particular, international taxation, deoffshorization, taxation in foreign jurisdictions, controlled foreign companies (CFCs), transfer pricing. Karen also advises on currency regulation and customs law, and assists in tax control activities.
