Konstantin Baranov has joined LEVEL Legal Services as a partner and head of the Banking and Finance practice. The expert has over 25 years of experience representing banks, financial organizations and corporate clients in complex international and Russian projects.
Prior to joining LEVEL Legal Services, Konstantin was a partner and head of banking and finance practice of one of the major international law firms for 12 years.
Konstantin started his career as a lawyer in a Russian bank and a European financial group, after which he worked in international law firms Norton Rose, Allen & Overy and CMS, thanks to which he has extensive experience in structuring and implementing various financial projects.
For many years Konstantin has been entrusted with the support of complex transactions by major global and Russian financial institutions, as well as companies from various industries. His areas of expertise include project and trade finance, real estate finance, acquisition finance and corporate finance.
He specializes in debt capital markets, derivatives, structured finance, banking regulation, restructuring and bankruptcy, and sanctions issues.
